Today was my first day in the gym in a long time. I usually do quick workouts in my house but nothing too consistent because I just don’t really have the time. Last week I told myself that if I could just make it to the gym one time, I would be able to keep it up. It felt so good to be in there. The machines gave me life. I started with the elliptical, then the ab machine, then the stair master. That stair master is a force to be reckoned with! I slept on it, but I was quickly awakened! I really think the gym gave me the motivation I needed to get this body right. We have a little over 100 days left until summer and I will not be left in the dust of all the girls in their cute outfits while I sing my shoulda, woulda, couldas. Now that I’ve gotten that first good workout in, I’m good to go! I will be heading to the gym 3 times a week and on my off days I’m going to try to figure something else out. I’m excited because before I had Jaylin I used to always wonder why people who expressed wanting to lose weight, wouldn’t just do what was required. (Ignorant way of thinking, I know)..But nowwww..I see that it is NOT that easy. You have to be motivated and disciplined. So that’s where I’m trying to be. Let’s see how this goes.
